Shutdown Monster Client/Server?

1. Enable port 38100 both on the client and on the server

 

2. Enable server mode on the PC you want to remote-control:
   
   After this, you can minimize Shutdown Monster - just don't close it

 

3. Go to the client PC, and start Shutdown Monster Client
   Enter the IP of the server computer:
   

 

4. Click Connect:
   

 

5. Ejecting the remote computer's CD tray is just fun :)
   

• To get the server's IP address, just double-click the network connection in use, and click on the Support tab:
  

 

• To enable port 38100:
  • if the server is behind a router, enable port forwarding on the router's admin page
  • if you use a firewall, just click Yes if it asks your permission to use port 38100
